FSDS Banner
The FSDS is a non-profit organization based in Arizona. We are a support and resource center for those with service dogs, and for those who seek information and training on service dog issues. The FSDS preferentially grants service dogs to community servants in need, including wounded military, first responders, public school teachers, ministry and others who have served their community. If you are in need of a service dog, we are accepting applications on an ongoing basis.

The FSDS also trains Facility Dogs to assist agencies who work with crime victims and otherwise traumatized individuals, particularly abused children.

Donations are Needed to assist us in providing service dogs to local heroes in need. Your gift can help us to change lives, and all donations are tax deductible.

TEAM / DOG OF THE MONTH

Alex and MiloCongratulations to Alexandra Cockett and her dog Milo on being named Team of the Month. Alex is 12 years old and interested in becoming a pet therapy volunteer, but was turned down due to her age. Determined to learn more and turn her passion for animals into something more positive for her community, she started a club for local youth. Pets and Caring Kids (PACK) Club is open to youths ages 7-16, and is designed to allow them to gain insight into the many ways that animals and people can work together.

The PACK Club approached the FSDS last Fall and asked that we mentor their kids, and we were delighted to say yes. This Spring, PACK Club youth will be involved as volunteers at upcoming events. We applaud Alex for her enthusiasm and her desire to help others. Registration for the club is now open for the semester beginning Feb. 26th. For more information, you can contact Club Advisor, Arminda Cockett by email at arminda83@msn.com or by phone at: 623-451-4672.

Four paws up to Alex and Milo for helping to make our community a better place.
